Vijayawada: In a bid to address the challenges faced by Hamali workers in the Vijayawada West Constituency, BJP candidate Sujana Chowdary has promised to take proactive measures for their development and welfare. This commitment was reiterated during a spiritual gathering of gang workers held at the residence of former MLA Jalil Khan in Tarapet on Sunday.
Chowdary emphasized the importance of resolving the issues faced by garment workers in the constituency. As part of his campaign, he interacted with workers in market areas to better understand their hardships, highlighting the neglect they’ve faced under the current YCP government.
To address these concerns, Chowdary announced plans to establish a welfare board for all gang workers in the constituency, along with providing insurance facilities. Furthermore, he pledged to improve educational and medical infrastructure, including the construction of a government hospital.
Former MLA Jalil Khan expressed confidence in Chowdary’s ability to bring about positive change, citing his extensive experience as a Union Minister and Rajya Sabha member. Other BJP leaders, NDA alliance members, and activists also voiced their support for Chaudhary’s candidacy, urging constituents to stand united in support of his vision for the constituency’s development and welfare.
