Tadikonda: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday reaffirmed his life ambition to eliminate economic inequalities across the state. Speaking during the ‘Margadarsi–Bangaru Kutumbam’ programme in Tadikonda, he criticized those commenting without understanding the initiative, questioning if they had helped even a single family in their lifetime.

Paying rich tributes to Dr B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, the CM said that previous governments had only destroyed the state, misleading the public with falsehoods. “Politics is not about lies, but about service and solutions,” he emphasized.

He listened to grievances of selected families under the scheme and appreciated the Margadarsis who adopted them. Naidu announced an action plan to enhance the income of Ponnekallu residents, with 11 people coming forward to support 369 poor families.

Addressing past controversies, he dismissed the pink diamond allegations as fabricated and politically motivated. He also condemned the handling of the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, saying witnesses are being harassed and even killed.

The CM recalled the Janmabhoomi programme’s roots, inspired by icons like ANR and Dasari Narayana Rao. “My goal is clear—remove poverty and bridge economic gaps,” he declared.
