Pithapuram: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, in his final election campaign meeting in Pithapuram, assured voters that YSRCP MLA candidate Vanga Geetha would be appointed as Deputy Chief Minister upon the party’s return to power.
Addressing the crowd, CM Jagan criticized the opposition coalition’s manifesto, alleging it would burden the government with an estimated Rs 1.65 lakh crore annually. He questioned Pawan Kalyan’s candidacy, warning of potential repercussions for women, farmers, and children if Kalyan were to align with Chandrababu Naidu.
Highlighting the battle of ideologies, CM Jagan emphasized his government’s efforts in pension distribution and educational support, despite opposition hindrances. He lamented opposition tactics aimed at delaying public benefits to undermine the government’s achievements.
Expressing his sole desire for the welfare of farmers and citizens, CM Jagan refuted opposition claims regarding land titling acts, citing instances of land transactions involving prominent figures.
