Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has criticized Union Minister Kishan Reddy for failing to secure central funds for the state. In a strongly worded letter, Revanth Reddy accused Kishan Reddy of neglecting Telangana’s infrastructure projects while approving metro expansions in Chennai and Bengaluru.

The CM pointed out that despite multiple appeals, Hyderabad’s metro expansion project has seen no progress. He also alleged that Kishan Reddy has made several empty promises regarding projects like Sabarmati and Ganga rejuvenation while ignoring key initiatives in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy further questioned the Union Minister’s contributions, stating, “Have you even tried to secure projects for Telangana? Instead of addressing failures, you are resorting to counterattacks. What have you done for the people of Telangana as a Union Minister?” He urged Kishan Reddy to prioritize state projects and ensure necessary funding.

The exchange highlights growing tensions between the Telangana government and the Centre, with state leaders demanding a fair share of infrastructure and development funds.
