Mangalagiri: In a good news to the fans of Pawan Kalyan, Election Commission of India (ECI) reserved a glass tumbler symbol for Janasena party. Janasena will contest on glass tumbler symbol in 2024 general elections.
The ECI earlier placed glass tumbler in the list of free symbols as Janasena failed to get sufficient votes to retain it. YSRCP social media mocked Janasena and alleged that the party doesn’t even have its own symbol.
Legal cell of Janasena took the issue seriously and held a row of representations with ECI. Upon request the ECI passed orders to AP Election Commission and Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) to reserve a glass tumbler symbol for Janasena.
Legal cell team gave the order copies to Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday. Pawan thanked the party leaders and legal team for their continuous support.
Janasena is heading to launch a special campaign in the name “Madi Middle Class- Magurtu Gaju Glass” promoting its election symbol glass tumbler.
