Amaravati: Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu announced that the increased pension amounts for April, May, and June will be distributed from July 1. Beneficiaries, including the elderly, disabled, widows, and single women, will receive Rs. 7,000 in total. Naidu stated that pensions will be delivered directly to homes by village and ward secretariat staff, demonstrating the feasibility of utilizing these personnel for pension distribution.
In a festive atmosphere, beneficiaries will receive a government guarantee letter to mark the occasion, and Naidu will participate in the program. He urged ministers and MLAs to join the distribution events. Naidu conveyed these details during a teleconference with TDP MLAs, constituency in-charges, observers, and chief leaders on Monday.
Additionally, Naidu announced the reopening of 183 canteens, which will be managed with public participation. He criticized the previous YSRCP government for harassing TDP leaders and activists. Naidu assured that those who supported the NDA’s victory will be nominated for posts, with their details being collected. He emphasized the importance of recognizing and supporting party loyalists to strengthen the TDP.
