Vijayawada: In a move of significant political importance, Kesineni Sivanath(Chinni), the Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) MP candidate met with former MLA Yalamachili Ravi on Sunday.
Chinni made a formal visit to Ravi’s residence, marking the beginning of what could potentially be a pivotal alliance in the upcoming elections.
Yalamachali Ravi, previously served as the MLA for the Vijayawada East constituency during the 2009 elections under the Praja Rajyam. He holds considerable sway in the Krishna Lanka and Patamata areas of Vijayawada. Known for his humility and approachable nature, Ravi commands a strong following among the local populace.
Although Ravi had joined YSRCP ahead of the 2019 elections, he stayed away after the joining of Devineni Avinash.
Against this backdrop, the meeting between Kesineni Chinni and Yalamachali Ravi carries significant political implications, particularly in Vijayawada political landscape. Yalamachali Ravi has the potential to alter the political landscape of Vijayawada in the lead-up to the elections.
