Amaravathi: The Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, has been conducting the Praja Darbar for the people of the Mangalagiri Assembly segment, but it has seen attendance from across the state as residents bring their issues to his attention.

People began gathering early in the morning, bypassing any restrictions near Lokesh’s residence to voice their concerns directly. Inspired by the success of Lokesh’s initiative, other ruling party MLAs are now planning to hold similar programs in their constituencies.

After attentively listening to each grievance, Lokesh promptly forwarded the appeals to the relevant officials for swift action. On Saturday, he received numerous complaints from individuals claiming that their lands had been illegally occupied by local YSRCP leaders during the party’s tenure in power.

One such appeal came from Ala Sambasiva Rao of Errabalem, Mangalagiri mandal, who reported that his 16.5 cents of land was grabbed by Chavali Ullaiah. Kurava Mardiah, an elderly man from Loddipalli, Orvakallu mandal, Kurnool district, stated that his family’s primary income source was seized by Pittam Naga Sudhakar Reddy and Parigi Madhavi with the backing of local YSRCP leaders. He urged Lokesh to help reclaim his land, as his attempts with local police had been fruitless.

Residents of Vaddeswaram, Vundavalli, Tadepalli, and Kunchanapalli submitted a memorandum to Lokesh, asking for the removal of encroachments near former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence.
