San Francisco: Andhra Pradesh Minister of State for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, received an enthusiastic welcome from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supporters and NRIs as he arrived in San Francisco. Lokesh’s visit aims to attract investments to bolster Andhra Pradesh’s IT sector, building on the foundation laid by his father, former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who envisioned Hyderabad as an IT hub under the Vision 2020 initiative. Lokesh, following his father’s legacy, now strives toward a prosperous Andhra Pradesh by 2047.
This U.S. trip marks Lokesh’s first visit after the National Democratic Alliance’s significant win in Andhra Pradesh. Scheduled from October 25 to November 1, his itinerary includes attending the 9th IT Service Synergy conference in Las Vegas on October 29, and unveiling an NTR statue in Atlanta on October 31.
NRI TDP representatives, including Jayaram Komati, Sagar Doddapaneni, and IT Serve members like Vinod Uppu, warmly welcomed Lokesh at the San Francisco airport, along with numerous supporters eager to support his mission.
