
Delhi: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut condemned the violence by TDP supporters against YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) workers in Andhra Pradesh. Attending a protest led by YSRCP Chief Jagan Reddy, Raut criticized the TDP government for the ongoing violence and called for a detailed investigation by the Centre into these incidents.
Solidarity with YSR Congress
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant expressed strong support for Jagan Reddy, warning that if the violence continues, Andhra Pradesh could become the next Manipur. He urged the TDP government to take decisive action against the atrocities.
Condemnation from AIADMK and SP Leaders
AIADMK leader M Thambidurai, attending the protest, condemned the violence and criticized the state government. He called on CM Naidu to take serious measures to end the attacks by TDP goons. SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav also criticized Naidu for not addressing the violence, demanding a State Emergency to restore order and expressing solidarity with Jagan Reddy.
Calls for Judicial Intervention
Shiv Sena UBT MP Priyanka Chaturvedi called for the top court to take suo motu cognizance of the violence, condemning the TDP’s actions. TMC MP Nadimul Haque similarly expressed anger over the ongoing violence and urged both the Centre and the judiciary to intervene.
