Kalyan Singh, the Governor of Rajasthan, on Thursday night, around 2:30 A.M., allocated portfolios to all the 23 ministers of Ashok Gehlot’s Cabinet, in Rajasthan.
Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Sachin Pilot, the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, had a disagreement over the allocation of the Home and Finance departments. Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party chief, resolved the issue between Mr. Gehlot and Mr. Pilot.
The Home and Finance departments were eventually allocated to Ashok Gehlot. Mr. Gehlot holds 9 major departments such as Excise, Planning, Department of Personnel, General Administration and Information Technology.
On the other hand, Sachin Pilot was allocated 5 departments. He will be responsible for the Public Works, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Science and Technology and Statistics departments.
The other ministers were also allocated their portfolios, on Thursday. Given below is the list of the ministers and the portfolios allocated to them.
