Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized his government’s commitment to public welfare and state development, stating that efforts are underway to establish Hyderabad as a global hub. Speaking at the Ugadi celebrations held at Rabindra Bharati, he outlined the government’s vision for progress.

Referring to the state budget presented by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Revanth Reddy described it as a balanced plan focused on income generation and distribution to the poor. He highlighted major allocations for education, healthcare, and infrastructure, ensuring that the state moves towards sustainable growth.

“For investment and economic prosperity, maintaining law and order is crucial. We are shaping Telangana to serve as a model for the entire country. Hyderabad will not just remain a residential city; it will transform into a ‘Future City’, generating employment opportunities for millions,” the Chief Minister asserted.

On the agricultural front, Telangana has emerged as the top rice-producing state in India, with a record yield of 1.56 lakh metric tonnes last year. Revanth Reddy pointed out that such production levels were never achieved in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh. “We are also providing bonuses for thin rice cultivation, benefiting 60-65% of farmers across the state,” he added.

With a vision to elevate Hyderabad’s global standing, the CM reiterated his government’s commitment to progressive policies that enhance public welfare and economic development.
