Amaravati: TTD Chairman BR Naidu reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Amaravati region farmers, stating that he has stood by them since the previous government’s three-capital proposal. Speaking at a felicitation event organized by Rajdhani Rythu IKASA in Velagapudi, Naidu expressed solidarity with the farmers, emphasizing his role as a farmer’s son.

Naidu highlighted his active participation in farmers’ protests, including the Vijayawada and Rajamahendravaram padayatra, as per the direction of TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. He described the Amaravati movement as unprecedented, asserting that the ruling YSRCP government failed to address farmers’ concerns, leading to a strong public backlash.

To further strengthen the movement, Naidu announced a Srinivasa Kalyanam event on March 15, urging all farmers to participate. He emphasized that this event symbolizes the unity and determination of Amaravati farmers in their fight for justice.

The event saw the presence of key political leaders, including MLAs Tenali Shravan Kumar, Jyotula Nehru, and MS Raju, who extended their support to the cause. Naidu reiterated his commitment to standing by Amaravati farmers and ensuring their demands are met.
