Vijayawada: Telugu Desam chief and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu dared chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to leave Pulivendula assembly constituency to BCs if he really cared for their upliftment. Naidu said that YSRCP will lose elections even though it changes 150 candidates.
Addressing a press conference at NTR Bhavan at Mangalagiri on Thursday, Naidu said that YSRCP is a sinking ship and it is soon going to be empty.
Commenting on the sudden shift of 11 YSRCP MLAs, he said, “In my 45 years of political career, I have never witnessed transfers for MLAs and MPs. If Jagan loves the BC community, he should give his Pulivendula seat to them and Jagan should contest for any other seat as he feels that he is a great leader. Even if Jagan Reddy changes 151 candidates, he cannot win”. Naidu said that he would collect feedback from the people and select the right candidates using technologies like IVRS.
“Super Six registrations are going on very well through the state with TDP leaders reaching out to 36-37 lakh houses. There is a lot of curiosity about Bhavishyathuku Guarantee among people and even YSRCP people are registering in it. We will counter YSRCP’s plans to include bogus votes”, he added.
