Tadepalli: Former Minister Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani) has sharply criticized CM Chandrababu Naidu’s first 30 days in office, accusing him of deceitful governance. Speaking at the party central office in Tadepalli, Perni Nani stated that Naidu has avoided addressing election promises and has increased state debt by taking more loans. Despite Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman revealing the state’s financial issues, Naidu has not acknowledged them, said Nani.
He accused Naidu of spending his initial days releasing misleading white papers and blaming the previous government. Regarding the Polavaram project, Nani blamed Naidu for its delays, questioning the remaining 28% of the project’s completion despite Naidu’s claim of 72% completion.
Nani also highlighted the discrepancies in the Talliki Vandanam Scheme and criticized Naidu’s unfulfilled promises from previous manifestos. He emphasized that schemes like Rytu Bharosa and Amma Vodi would have continued smoothly under YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership.
Reacting to YS Sharmila’s comments, Nani questioned her political motives, suggesting her actions favored the BJP and TDP.
