Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is scheduled to chair a cabinet meeting on the 8th of February, Wednesday.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Cabinet Meeting would be held at 11:00 A.M., at the Camp Office, in Tadepalli. During the meeting, the Council of Ministers is expected to approve the major projects passed by the Andhra Pradesh AP SIPB (State Investment Promotion Board.)
Besides pending projects, the State Government would also discuss the Andhra Pradesh Global Investors Summit in Visakhapatnam, the increase in retirement age of the employees of Model Schools and Residential Education Society and the change of guidelines of various welfare schemes. In addition, during the Cabinet Meeting, the YSRCP Government would also give a green signal to key decisions regarding the Test Drive Development (TDD.)
The Council of Ministers would also give approval to several items for which Government Orders (GOs) have already been issued. The Cabinet Council of Ministers would also discuss the conduct of the Assembly budget meetings and discuss the allocations to the State in the Central Budget 2023-2024.
Some other major issues which would be discussed in today’s Cabinet Meeting are the development of Bhogapuram airport, ports, Kadapa steel plant, distribution of Jagananna colonies and other projects.
The YSRCP Cabinet Meeting is expected to begin at 11:00 A.M.
