On the 17th of June, the Enforcement Directorate officials raided the house of former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mr. JC Prabhakar Reddy in Tadipatri.
According to sources, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader’s house was raided in connection with the vehicle registration forgery documents case. It is to be noted, the Enforcement Directorate alleged Mr. J.C. Prabhakar Reddy, the owner of JC Travels, for buying vehicles under the scrap and making illegal registrations in Nagaland with fake invoices.
As per the ED officials, in the name of JC Travels, the former MLA purchased over hundred vehicles and registered all the vehicles illegally
Besides Mr. J.C. Prabhakar Reddy, the ED officials also raided his key follower Mr. Chavvagopal Reddy and interrogated him in the matter. Approximately 20 ED officials are conducting the raids at various locations, Tadipatri and Hyderabad.
In Hyderabad, the Enforcement Directorate officers searched the residences of Mr. J.C. Prabhakar Reddy and Mr. J.C. Diwakar Reddy, also known as JC Brothers.
Meanwhile, the Telugu Desam Party leaders condemned the raid and blamed a political vengeance behind the raid, especially when the electrons are approaching in the State.
