Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu for his journey from a rural background to a high-ranking position in the country. On Naidu’s birthday, PM Modi virtually released three books chronicling his life and achievements. The event was held at Anwaya Convention Center in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

“I had the opportunity to work with Venkaiah Naidu for a long time. Thousands of activists have learned a lot from him. He fought under extreme conditions and spent 17 months in jail. Venkaiah Naidu left his mark in the Rural and Urban Development Department, implementing many schemes like Swachh Bharat and Amrit Yojana efficiently. His tenure in the Rajya Sabha has been exemplary, and his experience will benefit us for a long time,” said Modi.
The Prime Minister highlighted Naidu’s significant contributions to the country and lauded his efforts in various government roles, underlining the impact of his leadership and service.
