Subhash Rao Kishan Rao Yande, a 68 year old resident of Hyderabad, also a big fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, turned his son’s wedding invitation into a campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)
The wedding of Subbarao’s son, Mukesh, and Anushka is scheduled, on the 21st of February. Subhash printed invitation cards for the wedding with a quote which says, “Our gift is your vote for Modi in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.”
Subhash is a huge fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wants the BJP to be back in power in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Subhash Rao is a retired electrical contractor. Speaking to The Times of India, Mr. Rao said, “Voting to get Modi to power is itself a gift for the couple.”
Narsing Rao, one of the relatives of Subhash, said, “Subhash is someone who goes out of the way to show affection to anyone he loves and admires.”
As of now, the family has printed and distributed approximately 1,000 wedding invites among their friends and relatives. The Modi led BJP can gain a minimum of 1,000 votes if Subhash Rao’s attempts are successful.
