On Saturday early morning at Jaipur Mandal Center in Mancherial district, a 13 year old boy fell from the first floor and died.
Rajesh was sleeping on a bunk bed that was near a large window that had no grills.

The boy accidentally fell off the bed and out the window from the first floor to the ground floor. The boy was rushed to Jaipur government hospital where he was declared dead.

Jaipur Police sub inspector, B. Sanjeev said, “The conditions in the room clearly show that the school authorities did not care for the safety of the students at all. The in charge principal and warden will be arrested shortly.”

The police reported a case has been registered under IPC section 304(A), death due to negligence. The accused have been identified as Maheshwar Rao, the principal and the chief accused, Pandit, the warden.

The 13 year old boy’s father was a farmer and he was from Kondampeta village in Kotapalli mandal.

The Balala Hakkula Sangham NGO has condemned this incident and blames it on negligence on the part of the school.

The NGO has also demanded strict action against the accused and Rs. 25 lakh compensation to the student’s family.
