Additional DCP Says, Not To Quote The Police With Wrong Information

Regarding the Chief Secretary of Delhi (CS) Anshu Prakash’s case, the Additional DCP Harendra Singh requested people not to quote the police with wrong information. Harendra Singh said, “It was informed to the court that the site visit reveals discrepancies in the timing. Only Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) will be able to tell if any tampering has been done. Please don’t quote police with factually wrong information.”

Today, the defense lawyer said the police is factually wrong and irresponsible. He further requested for the bail of the accused and added the police should prove the tampering. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Leader Ashutosh said the police took action against AAP MLAs without any evidence.

Earlier, Anshu Prakash alleged 2 AAP MLAs trashed him at Arvind Kejriwal’s house. Prakash further added in spite of the CM being present, he did not take any action. The CS’s advisor V. K. Jain said the CS reached Kejriwal’s residence past midnight.

A few officers from Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DANICS) requested for a public apology from Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for the alleged behavior. The officers said they will only communicate in writing until they receive the public apology. Manish Sisodia wrote a letter to the Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal requesting him to order the officers to resume their duties.
