Charge Sheet filed against Revanth Reddy in ‘Vote for Note’ scam

Hyderabad: Anti Corruption Bureau officials filed the charge sheet with special court in ‘Vote for Note’ case against Revanth Reddy and three others on Tuesday.

The allegations against the TDP leader is that Revanth Reddy tried to bribe the nominated MLA Stephenson with a deal of 5 crore cash payment. He was caught red handed by the ACB while giving him 50 lakh.

Along with Revanth reddy TDP christian cell president Harry Sebastian, Udaya Simha and Muttaiah were named as accused. The Charge Sheet was submitted to Justice Laxmipathi by ACB.

The accusations were filed under Anti corruption Law( Section 12 of PC Act), IPC section 120(b) {criminal conspiracy}, 34{Common intention}. A 25 page charge sheet was filed in which witness accounts were named.
