Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was discharged from hospital in Mumbai Today. He immediately returned to Goa after days of treatment.
After days of speculation over Parrikar’s health, he has returned and will address a press conference. He was receiving treatment for a pancreatic condition at the Lilavati Hospital. There are rumors Parrikar is suffering from pancreatic cancer but has not been verified.
Deputy Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly Michael Lobo said, “Parrikar has arrived in Goa. It is a good piece of news that he has been discharged. But it is not still clear whether he would be tabling the budget.”
The CM went to his residence in Panaji and then arrived at the Goa Legislative Assembly. Parrikar also presented the State Budget to the House.
