Hyderabad: In a sensational statement, Minister Konda Surekha accused Telangana’s former IT Minister and BRS party’s working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) of inappropriate behavior, claiming that some individuals in the film industry have been troubled by his actions. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, she alleged that several actresses left the industry or got married early due to these issues.
Surekha, expressing her grief, highlighted the harassment she has faced as a BC woman, claiming that derogatory posts were made about her at KTR’s direction. According to her, party workers were instructed to make demeaning posts targeting women. She further mentioned that similar incidents occurred with Minister Seethakka and Mayor Gadwala, citing an instance involving obscene posts about Vijayalakshmi.
Surekha emphasized that she worked for five years in India and her personality is well-known. She stated that complaints had been filed against those responsible for the offensive posts. “Political values have deteriorated,” she said, urging the government to take corrective actions and not damage the reputations of individuals for political gain.
The allegations have sparked widespread discussion, with calls for further investigation into the claims.
