Karimnagar: A CID inspector from Telangana have been booked under Nirbhaya Act for allegedly sending obscene messages and pictures through social media networks to a woman.
The Karimnagar police registered a case against Dayakar Reddy who is CID Inspector of CID wing Karimnagar. The complaint was made by a 41-year-old woman.
The woman said, in last for months the accused had been sending objectionable pictures and messages over WhatsApp. The woman complaint about the harassment as it became unbearable. The woman register the complaint along with the proofs.
However, the police have not arrested the accused inspector yet.
