Today, the TRS party will adopt a democratic protest at the Lok Sabha to allow a discussion on TDP’s no confidence motion against the Modi Government. The TRS has been protesting in the House obstructing Speaker Sumitra Mahajan from holding discussions.
The Telangana party plans to adopt a democratic form of protest. This is for a hike in the reservations quota for the State.On Monday, the TRS Parliamentary Party meeting headed by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao made this decision.
The TRS leadership made this move after the Speaker stated the no confidence motion was delayed by the ruckus. KCR wants to avoid giving the NDA Government an excuse to adjourn the House again. The Telangana Government is fighting for the states to have power over reservations in education and employment in their jurisdiction.
