Always dreamt of using a Smart TV with the features of a fully functional PC? Well then, guess Microsoft overheard your dream as the world’s biggest tech company is partnering with iBall to launch the first compact PC-on-a-stick device that will convert a TV into a PC and Smart TV.
The device named iBall Splendo is priced at INR 8,999 which makes it the most affordable device to have. The iBall Splendo comes with a wireless desk set that includes a mouse and a keyboard. The user just has to plug in the device into the HDMI input on the TV to witness a complete Windows PC experience.
Vineet Durani – Director Windows Business Group, Microsoft India said: “The iBall Splendo is for people who love devices and want to be connected all the time using multiple form factors. These users are tech enthusiasts who love gadgets, have access to multiple TVs at home, love the Smart TV experience and use Windows for browsing, social networking and multimedia consumption.”

The iBall Splendo goes by its name as it is so compact that it can easily fit in your pocket. The device runs on Windows 8.1 OS supported by 2GB RAM. The iBall Splendo comes with an inbuilt storage of 32GB. The iBall Splendo will be available for purchase from July across India. The company also plans to sell it aggressively on e-commerce and TV commerce websites.
