The worldwide used app, Snapchat, has released its new features which include some new and exciting ones like Groupchat and Shazam.
The social media superstar tied up with the music app franchise so that its users can now identify and save new discoveries of songs. The user just has to press and hold the Snapchat camera screen. The song is then identified and saved onto the ‘Settings’ tab. People can then share their music to friends as Snaps.
Another feature is the Groupchat which enables the customer to make group chats with upto 16 friends for 24 hrs. The chats will be automatically deleted after the limited time. The snaps shared via the chat will be available to one time replay. The group notifications show the friends who are chatting. You can even just click on the name of a specific friend that you want to have one-on-one conversation with in another window and then swipe back to the group chat in a trice to avoid spamming the entire group.
Two more cool introductions are the features called Scissors and Paintbrush. Scissors helps you crop and take a picture of your Snaps on the preview screen. You can use this as a sticker when chatting with friends. Paintbrush on the other hand is useful to doodle on your snap memories. The only setback is that this feature is available only on iOS for now. Although the company will be rolling it out on Android soon enough.
Looks like Snap Inc. is making Snapchat cooler than ever before! Hopefully it ticks all the marks on being user friendly too!
