No more Windows 10.1 or Windows 11
According to Microsoft, the next edition will be its last named operating system. But the experts are opining that it doesn’t mean the Redmond based company won’t update its operating system. They are predicting that there will be many more updates, but none of them will be named.
This news was declared by Jerry Nixon, a Microsoft employee and developer evangelist. He stated, “Right now we’re releasing Windows 10, and because Windows 10 is the last version of Windows, we’re all still working on Windows 10,” which clearly means that future updates will also be branded as Windows 10.
The Windows 10 update for PCs is scheduled to release in the third quarter of this year, on the other hand, the mobile updates are expected to be released later.
