Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently opened up about his personal life and professional journey in an interview with veteran actor Nana Patekar. Known for his perfectionist image in the film industry, Aamir admitted to struggling with personal discipline earlier in his life. He revealed being a smoker and drinker in the past, stating that while he recognized his habits were wrong, he found it challenging to quit. However, he credited cinema for bringing positive change, describing films as a form of “medicine.”

Discussing his approach to work, Aamir shared that he consciously chose to work on one film a year, allowing him to focus on quality and meaningful storytelling.

Aamir last appeared in Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022 and is currently working on Sitare Zameen Par. Additionally, he expressed excitement and responsibility regarding his dream project, Mahabharata. He aims to present the epic story on a grand scale, stating, “This story is in our blood as Indians. I want to ensure it’s made the right way to make India proud.”
