Tanguturu: State Social Welfare Minister Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy suffered a major accident during the Poleramma Kolupu festival in Paletipadu village, Prakasam district, on Sunday. The incident occurred when local leaders and youth competed to take pictures with the minister in front of the decorated bulls. Amidst the festivities, the bulls charged at the minister, pushing him forward and trampling him with their forelegs.
Quick-thinking gunmen and party leaders intervened, blocking the bulls and rescuing the minister from further harm. After receiving immediate medical treatment, the minister returned to his residence in East Naidupalem, Tanguturu mandal. Upon learning of the incident, a large number of constituency party leaders and workers gathered at his house to check on his condition.
Senior party leader Damachrala Purnachandra Rao also visited the minister’s residence to offer support. Minister Veeranjaneya Swamy has since assured the public that his health is stable and there is no cause for concern.
