Amaravati: Despite a request for a CBI investigation, the case of Sugali Preeti, a young girl who was assaulted and murdered, has not progressed. Her mother, Parvati, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, presented a petition seeking justice.
Parvati, in tears, expressed her anguish, saying, “The previous government promised a CBI inquiry into my daughter’s case, but nothing has been done.” The petition was submitted during a meeting in Mangalagiri on Tuesday evening. Kalyan and his family, visibly moved, emphasized the need to prevent such tragedies in the future.
Kalyan reiterated the family’s plea for a CBI investigation, highlighting the lack of response to their numerous requests. He assured Parvati of his support and committed to discussing the matter with police officials to seek justice.
The stalled progress in Sugali Preeti’s case continues to cause distress, as her family fights to ensure that no other girl faces a similar fate.
