Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and the President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) arrived in Moga, Punjab, on the 22nd of November. He arrived in Punjab for a two day visit starting from today, Monday.
Mr.Kejriwal is scheduled to launch Mission Punjab, a one month long campaign event in Punjab for the upcoming 2022 Punjab Assembly elections. During the visit, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal would visit Moga, Ludhiana and Amritsar. In a statement the Delhi Chief Minister said, “We will make big announcements for the women of Punjab and their empowerment in the party programme in Moga.” He also said, “In the evening, I will visit Ludhiana where I will talk to auto drivers.”
Mr. Kejriwal is also scheduled to visit Amritsar and address a press conference in the City. In addition, during this one month period under the Mission Punjab, the AAP would cover major places and regions of the State and would campaign for the AAP for the 2022 Legislative polls.
It is to be noted, the Punjab Assembly elections for 117 seats is set to be held in 2022, with the parties like Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) the Indian National Congress (INC,) the new party of Captain Amarinder Singh and the AAP in the fray.
