Pune: People walking across the streets of Pune where shocked when they sighted a senior citizen man walking around fearlessly with a severed head.
60-year-old Ramachandra Chavan allegedly beheaded his 55-year-old wife Sonabai and then walk with the head until the traffic police noticed it and arrested for the crime.
The accused was in dhoti and kurta, is seen holding the head in one hand and an axe in other. Two police ran behind him and first covered the head with the cloth.
The police say Mr Chavan, who works as a watchman, killed his wife with the axe suspecting that she was having an affair.
