On the 4th of March, an 8 year old girl was allegedly raped in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the police, the minor was a student of class 3, at a private school and was allegedly raped by school teacher and manager. The incident came into light after the child narrated the heinous crime to her parents, following which the victim’s father filed a police complaint.
The first information report (FIR) was registered with the Kotwali police station. After the case was registered, the victim was also sent for a medical examination and the reports confirmed rape. The Kotwali Circle Officer Kuldeep Singh said, the accused have been arrested and booked under the under Section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Furthermore, an investigation is underway in the matter.
