A lot has been said about the Bengaluru mass molestation incident. It has shocked the nation as a whole, but what shocked even worse was the comments of Ministers and other men about this incident. In this said incident, several women were caught amidst thousands of men and were groped and grabbed by the lewd and lascivious men.

Speaking to the India Today, Samajwadi party’s MLA Abu Azmi of Maharastra said that, “If a girl celebrates after dark she should go with her husband, father and not with strangers. There should be strict action against those going against our culture.” He also added a horrendous explanation, that because women consider being nude as fashion, such incidents are bound to happen.

 

On Thursday, protesting the incident and comments made, actor Akshay Kumar took to twitter to express his opinion. In the video, Akshay Kumar expressed about how he learned about the mass molestation incident after returning from vacation in Cape Town with his family. He said that he felt ashamed of calling himself a human and that the video of mass molestation made him quite angry. He also added that a society that doesn’t respect women should be ashamed of itself and also condemned those who supported and justified the incident and blamed the girls for such incident.

The father of the four-year-old Nitara, he said that in our Country all the girls must be advised to take up martial arts and learn how to defend themselves from incidents that are happening.
