Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has finalised the names of candidates to contest for Member of the Legislative Council (MLCs) from Graduate constituencies.
On the 18th of July, Monday, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) held a meeting with the party Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs,) the Member of the Legislative Council (MLCs) and other leaders regarding this.
During the meeting, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy took the decision and approved for Party leaders’ proposal to contest for Graduate MLC posts.
The names finalised by the YSRCP President and the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister are: Mr. S Sudhakar, the Brahman Corporation Chairman to contest from the joint Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts, Mr. Syam Prasad Reddy of Gudur, who would contest from former Prakasam, Nellore and Chittoor districts and Mr. V. Ravi for Kurnool, Kadapa and Ananthapur districts.
