The Bihar Assembly elections 2020 is likely to be a 5th term for the Nitish Kumar led Janata Dal (United) JD(U.)

The Janata Dal (United) was the first among political parties to get into celebratory mood even before the official announcement.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is leading in more than half mark majority seats and won a seat in Supaul.

JD(U) party workers raised “Nitish Kumar Zindabad” slogans as NDA is leading in majority of seats.

While the JD(U) won in two constituencies, the BJP which won two seats.

The BJP workers also initiated its celebrations with blowing of conch shells amid chants of Har Har Mahadev and smearing of gulal (colour) on each other.

As of now, the BJP is leading in 72 seats, the JD (U) in nearly 47 seats, which is near to 130 seats for the NDA.

Meanwhile, the Indian National Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) grand alliance (Mahagathbandhan) is leading in just 97 seats.

According to exit polls, the NDA is likely to be the government of Bihar with a massive victory.

However, an official announcement is yet to be made as the counting is still underway.
