Bihar: In a road rage incident, JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi’s son Rocky Yadav allegedly shot teenager to death on Saturday night when the youngster overtook an SUV caring the MLC’s son. The teenager, Aditya Sachdev had recently finished class 12 and had gone to Bodh Gaya to celebrate his birthday.
“Soon after we overtook the SUV, they started firing in the air and forced us to stop,” Sachdeva’s friend Aayush Kumar told journalists. “They beat us and when we tried to run, someone fired from behind. My friend was hit in the head,” he said. Sachdeva was taken to the Anugrah Narayan Medical College and Hospital, but doctors there said he was “brought dead.”
The Superintendent of Police, Gaya, Garima Mallik said ,“We’ve arrested Bindi Yadav [Rocky Yadav’s father] and the MLC’s bodyguard, Rajesh Kumar. We have charged them with criminal conspiracy and harbouring of the accused.” Police recovered Rocky Yadav’s SUV from his parents’ house. However, Bindi Yadav is trying to defend his son.
Mr. Yadav said the media,“When the other persons who were drunk scuffled with my son and started beating him up, he drew his licensed pistol in self-defence and by mistake all this happened,”
