Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday tweeted about the 37th foundation day of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party was formed in 1980 on April 6.
He wrote:
“On the Sthapana Diwas of @BJP4India, I congratulate the entire family of BJP Karyakartas working across the length and breadth of India.”
The PM recalled the struggle of the small group of party members in the beginning and also said they will work towards the betterment of the poor and marginalized in the Country with fervor. Modi said, “We recall with pride the hard work of generations of BJP Karyakartas who built the Party brick by brick with the endeavor to serve society.” The PM paid tribute to Deen Dayal Upadhyay at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. The Prime Minister described Deen Dayal Upadhyay as an inspiration for their work.
He said that he is grateful that all sections of people in our Country, despite different religions, castes and creed, have placed their trust in BJP. He also said that this means a great deal to him and the party.
In the following tweet, he added, “Guided by the Mantra of Antyodaya, our efforts to serve India especially the poor and the marginalized continue with great vigor.”
