A retired government school principal, K. Parasuram has been accused and arrested for sexual assault on a minor.
The 99-year-old man was arrested by the Chennai police on Saturday for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl.
The girl’s family is a tenant of the principal who has constructed houses adjacent to his own residence and put them up for rent. They have been tenants for about 2 years.
According to the police, the child complained about a stomach ache and informed her parents that the landlord had inserted his private parts into her mouth.
The father of the child confronted the landlord and informed the police. After the police made an arrest and interrogated Parasuram, he confessed to the crime. The police arrested him on charges of penetrative sexual assault.
The accused is a father of 7 children including 5 daughters and 2 sons who live in and around Tamil Nadu.
