Congress to protest Demonetisation in phases!

As a protest against Demonetisation, the Congress Party plans to launch a three phase movement starting on Monday. Randeep Surjewala, the spokesperson of the Party announced on Monday in the early hours that they would hold protests countrywide at blocks as well as national level. The high point of this protest will be a national conference of all the opposition party leaders on Demonetisation that will be held during the second phase in Delhi.

For the first phase, the party plans a press meet by the senior leaders and speak in detail about the flaws of the Demonetisation move by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The press conferences will be held on January 2-3 by the party leaders. At this conference they will distribute material highlighting why Demonetisation was an immature move. During the first phase, the party leaders will also protest outside the District Collectorate offices countrywide on January 6. Also the women of Congress will hold a ‘thali’ protest on January 9 at the national level. The second phase of the protest will begin on January 11 and the third phase will be between January 20-30.
