Bhojpur: In a shocking incident a Deputy Mayor of Bhojpur Basant Singh was shot by an unidentified assailants in Bihar’s Arrah today morning.
The men on bike opened fire on Singh while he was out on a stroll around 5 am this morning.
Gravely injured, especially in the hip, Singh was rushed to the nearby hospital, where the doctors decided to send him to Patna for further treatment.
The police has launched a manhunt to nab the assailants, who are on the loose.
