On Saturday, a 23 year old allegedly molested two air hostesses on a Jet Airways flight. The drunk hardware trader was identified as Akash Gupta and the air hostesses filed a written complaint to the Captain regarding the incident.
Gopalsingh Mohansingh, the 42 year old private intimated the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) about the incident and handed over Gupta, the traveler of seat No. 41 E to them. Akash Gupta was a native of Balaghat in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The CISF then contacted Sonegaon police who took Gupta into custody and registered him under Indian Penal Code IPC Section 354 for an offence of outraging a woman’s modesty. Gupta was interrogated by the police and was sent to magisterial custody by the court.
The youngster was traveling from Goa to Nagpur after a vacation. After taking a connecting flight from Mumbai to Nagpur, consumed alcohol at the Mumbai Airport. Cops said that Gupta grabbed the hand of the air hostesses when they were about to serve him a meal. The air hostesses immediately informed other crew members who stopped Gupta. But as he got aggressive with them too the crew members approached the captain with the complaint.
