New Delhi: A HDFC manager murdered his girlfriend when she found out that he was already married and threatened to tell his wife about the secret affair. The bank employee is identified as Naveen Kumar, reportedly smashed his lover’s head againts the footpath in Mongolpuri area in outer Delhi.
According to the reports, 28-year-old Punya Sagar, an employee with HDFC life insurance, had affair with a 32-year-old Naveen Kumar, but was unaware that he was already married and was also a father.
The HDFC manager then made a plan to get rid of her and convinced Punya to go out on a drive with him on March 3. The police said, Naveen told her he would ‘settle’ the matter and then killed her. He then took her to a hospital in his car and told the staff that she had met with an accident.
However, unfortunately for Naveen, two men who were passing by the road, had seem him executing the murder and had narrated the entire crime to the police.
