Earlier trains were the most affordable and convenient mode of transport until Air travel became the norm. Indians have always enjoyed the comfort of planes, regardless of price.
But now the #MakeInIndia campaign will ensure that train will again start ruling the mode of transport for the long distance passengers. Here are few pictures that will preview the designs of new coaches to be made and these will surely force you to practice train ride again.
Trial run of 24 coaches was conducted between Bhopal and Bina railway stations at a speed of 120 km per hour. These passenger coaches have been designed by Bhopal’s coach rehabilitation workshop (CRWS), Nishatpura and each aspect of the coaches was noted down by railway officials during trial run.
