In Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district, a commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist outfit was killed, on the 4th of June, Saturday.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir police officials, in an encounter, three soldiers and a civilian also received injuries. The encounter, which broke out on the evening of the 3rd of June, continued till the morning of the 4th of June.
The details of the encounter were shared on the 4th of June, Saturday. The Jammu and Kashmir police said, the terrorist Commander of HM Terror outfit Nisar Khanday was killed.
Mr. Vijay Kumar, the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir also took to Twitter and said, “Terrorist Commander of proscribed #terror outfit HM Nisar Khanday killed. #Incriminating materials, #arms & ammunition including 01 AK 47 rifle recovered. #Operation in progress.”
The Jammu and Kashmir Police Spokesperson said, “All the injured were immediately airlifted to 92 base hospital Srinagar for treatment and are stated to be stable.”
Furthermore, the police have cordoned off the area of Anantnag and launched a search operation.
