After reporting below 40,000 Wuhan virus cases on the 29th of June, India reported a slight rise in the Wuhan virus (Novel Coronavirus) cases the next day.
In the past 24 hours, India reported 45,951 new Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19,) 8,325 cases more than the cases reported yesterday. On the 29th of June, India reported 37,566 new COVID-19 cases, which increased to 45,951 the next day. The new cases were confirmed after testing 19 lakh samples. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR,) as many as 41,01,00,044 samples have been tested for COVID-19, of which, 19,60,757 were tested on the 29th of June.
Besides the new Wuhan virus cases, the Nation registered 817 deaths and 60,729 recovered/discharged cases. The daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 48th consecutive day. The new figures of COVID-19 were updated by the Union Health Ministry on the morning of the 30th of June, Wednesday.
With this, India has 3,03,62,848 positive cases, of which 2,94,27,330 are recoveries, 5,37,064 are active cases and 3,98,454 deceased cases. In addition, the active cases constitute about 1.77 % of the total cases, recovery rate is at 96.92 % and fatality rate is at 2.69 %.

Meanwhile, cumulatively 33.28 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide COVID-19 Vaccination Drive.
