ISI Agent Decides To Come Clean At Delhi Airport

At Terminal 3, in Delhi International Airport at around 4:15 P.M., a 38 year-old man approached the help desk and revealed that he was an ISI agent. The reason behind his confession was he wanted to quit and stay in India. Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI,) is an intelligence service of Pakistan that works towards providing information of national security to the government of Pakistan.

The attendant at the help desk immediately alerted the security. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF,) took the alleged Pakistani intelligence agent into custody. The man is identified as Muhammad Ahmad Sheikh, he arrived at Delhi from Dubai and was headed to Kathmandu. He is being held for questioning, during the interrogation, Ahmad revealed that he was connected to the ISI but had no intention of continuing to work for Pakistan. The self-proclaimed ISI agent also revealed that his family was under the control of the agency and would like to remain in India.

The investigators in charge found documents in his luggage that have the ISI logo on them. The agency is verifying the documents to see the accuracy of Ahmad’s story. An intelligence bureau unit, Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO,) has been assigned to verify if Pakistan has any prior records of India. Indian mission in Dubai and Research and Analysis Wing (RAW, India’s external intelligence service) have been tasked to confirm Ahmad’s identity.
