Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen, A man who started his career by making a small helicopter, has touched the clouds with his achievements. APJ Abdul Kalam, an Indian Scientist and a Politician was born on 15 October 1931 at Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. He studied physics and aerospace engineering at Madras University.
Kalam served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. He was a science administrator at Defense Research, Development Organisation and Indian Space Research Organisation was intimately involved in India’s Civilian space program and military Missile Development Efforts. Since then he was popularly known as ‘Missile Man Of India’ for the development of Ballistic Missile and launch vehicle technology.

APJ Abdul Kalam always stood first in serving the nation and the Country was his peak priority. Achievements: APJ Abdul Kalam is a simple self made man , who conquered the hearts with his simplicity and successful Research plan’s towards Modernizing the Nation. In the year 1998 India’s nuclear weapons test titled him as a National Hero.
In the year 1981 Dr Kalam was granted the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan award in 1990 and Bharat Ratna in 1997. He served the mother land as President of India from 2002 -2007.
MTV nominated him for the Youth Icon Award in 2003 and 2006. Dr. Kalam has touched the hearts of all with his humble smile and the tough missile. He is a role model to the nation by his inspiring Quotes and aspiring Books. His writings include Wings of Fire, Ignited minds, India 2020, Turning points etc.
The former President was always involved in the process of teaching and learning. He was always active on the social media, loved to interact with Youth. Few things that Abdul Kalam has left among us.
